Today we are going to explore the maximum and minimum Pan, Tilt and Zoom ranges and the speed of each, using the Mini PTZ camera by Hikvision.
For these tests, the camera is temporarily installed on my deck at 7 feet high and 25 feet away from my patio door and 75 feet from my shed. It is installed (as it should be) with the dome facing the ground.
To control the PTZ, I can use BI, but in this case, I’ll log into the camera’s web interface with Internet Explorer and use the control panel on the right-hand side on the “Live View” tab. The footage I’ll be showing is record using BlueIris at 15fps.
